Hal Donaldson’s story is one of redemption, resilience, and passion for giving back. As a child, he and his family were forced to survive on food stamps and welfare after his parents were hit by a drunk driver. For Hal, it was the local church that made all the difference. He says, “We made it in large part because of the generosity of the local church. These people wrapped their arms around me. If it wasn’t for the local church, I would’ve chosen a life of bitterness, but I saw Jesus through their kindness.”
It’s this experience that fuels Hal’s unwavering commitment to empowering the church today. He knows firsthand how the generosity of the church can transform lives, and he’s dedicated to helping churches become centers of mercy and hope for their communities.
