Hope is Alive

Hope is Alive exists to radically change the lives of drug addicts, alcoholics and those that love them. Hope is Alive (HIA) began in 2013 after Executive Director, Lance Lang overcame his struggle with addiction. What started as a sober living home with him and five other men has transformed over the last ten-plus years into the top destination for faith based recovery. From the very beginning, Hope is Alive had a clear vision of providing a Christ-centered approach to recovery. We believe that true transformation can only happen through a personal relationship with Jesus while addressing core wounds through behavioral addiction discovery. This faith-based approach and our attention to the underlying causes of addiction have become the foundation of our programs and services. As Hope is Alive expanded, so did our range of services. Today, we offer sober living, residential recovery, prevention education, assessment and referrals, family support groups, and an online recovery program.

Lance Lang has devoted his life to inspiring hope in those affected by addiction through sharing his own decades-long journey from addiction to freedom and brokenness to wholeness.

In October of 2012, Lance and (wife) Allyson Lang founded Hope is Alive Ministries, a program providing next-level mentoring homes for recovering addicts and alcoholics, as well as support groups providing help and hope for loved ones impacted by substance abuse.

Since then, Hope is Alive has grown from one home and five residents to 25 homes across 6 states with over 200 residents and an 80% success rate, as well as over 60 support groups, a residential recovery center, and a 24/7 hope-line for families searching for hope & help.

The impact of Hope is Alive is being felt in tens of thousands of homes and will be evident for generations to come.
